两个途径可以加速yum的速度,重点推荐第二种方法,非常方便.

1.使用http-proxy

设置方法不说了，就是修改/etc/yum.conf,或者直接在/etc/profile添加以下语句
http_proxy="http://user:password@server ip:3128"
export http_proxy

记得保存后 source该配置文件，使配置生效。

2.使用yum的扩展插件yum-fastestmirror

个人认为这个插件非常有效，速度真的是明显提高，安装只要
#yum -y install yum-fastestmirror

注意，在Centos 4上,名字叫yum-plugin-fastestmirror

就行。

希望通过以上方法，能解除yum的漫长等待过程。
